The 3sixteen Welding Jacket in Tobacco takes a utilitarian classic and gives it a refined overhaul. 3sixteen looked through stacks of vintage welding jackets as the inspiration for this piece, however instead of a 1-to-1 recreation of the iconic piece of workware, it makes several worthy upgrades. Starting with the fabric, it trades the roughout leather of traditional welding coats for a soft, heavyweight wool-cashmere blend that feels far more civilized. The unlined design keeps it lightweight and easy to layer, while thoughtful details - like the center bellow chest pocket, dual-functioning flap pockets, and internal zip pocket — make it as functional as it is refined. Finished with custom hammered snaps and a clean, high-neck silhouette, it’s rooted in the past, without being shy to modernize a bit.
